WW Playground Chips

Our Whitewood Playground Chips are Engineered Wood Fibre (EWF) that are used for playgrounds, landscaping and pathways. The perfect choice for a natural, sustainable and safe play surface, our IPEMA Certified Playground Chips ensure you are creating safe and inviting spaces. The benefits of whitewood are its natural white coloration and subtle scent. Its bright color also helps to reflect the sun and keep a cool surface for playground all year round. Our whitewood chips are 100% spruce, pine and fir engineered wood fibre and is our most popular choice throughout British Columbia.

Application:

Any protective surfacing used must be checked regularly to ensure the depth and adequacy of the material. Required depths are after compaction, ensure to calculate for compaction (up to 30% additional for 12″ compacted depth).

– Minimum of 6” for 5’ equipment height

– Minimum of 12” for 7’ equipment height

– Minimum of 18” for equipment higher than 7’
